Hilary Duff Honors Late Ex-Boyfriend Aaron Carter With Vintage Shirt During Philadelphia Concert

Hilary Duff paid a quiet but unmistakable tribute to her late former boyfriend Aaron Carter during a recent stop on her Lucky Me tour, honoring someone who played an important role in her teenage years more than two decades ago.

The singer and actress, 38, appeared onstage during her Sunday, Aug. 9, concert in Philadelphia wearing a white graphic T-shirt featuring a photograph of a young Carter.

Carter, who dated Duff during their years as young stars in the early 2000s, died on Nov. 5, 2022, at the age of 34.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later ruled his death accidental, determining that he drowned after the effects of inhaling difluoroethane and taking alprazolam contributed to his incapacitation.

Earlier this year, Duff shared another unexpected story involving her late ex-boyfriend.

During an April appearance on the Las Culturistas podcast, Duff discussed speaking with a psychic she had been trying to contact for some time.

According to Duff, the psychic initially did not know exactly who she was speaking with.

During their conversation, however, the psychic reportedly told Duff that several people were beginning to “show up” around her.

One of them, Duff recalled, was described as an Aaron with two As.

“I was like, ‘Oh my God. Is it Aaron Carter?’ ” she recalled.
