T.I. and Tiny’s Son King Harris Injured in Parking Mishap Involving Younger Brother Major

King Harris, the 21-year-old son of rapper T.I. and singer Tameka “Tiny” Harris, is recovering after being injured in a vehicle mishap involving his younger brother, Major Harris, who recently received his driver’s license.

The incident was revealed in a video King posted to Instagram on Friday, August 7. In the clip, King could be seen helping 18-year-old Major practice parking an Audi while giving him instructions from outside the vehicle.

What appeared to begin as a routine driving lesson quickly went wrong.

As Major slowly moved the Audi into position, the vehicle rolled forward toward King, who was standing in front of another parked car. King became caught between the two vehicles before managing to move away.

He could briefly be heard reacting in pain immediately after the impact.

Although the footage did not provide a detailed medical explanation of his injuries, another section of the video showed King wearing a brace on one leg and walking with the assistance of a crutch.

Despite the alarming moment, King appeared to maintain his sense of humor.

The Instagram video was edited with Ed Sheeran’s hit song “Thinking Out Loud,” specifically using the lyric, “When your legs don’t work like they used to before,” as King appeared on screen with the brace and crutch.

The post was shared jointly by King and his older brother Domani Harris.

In the caption, the brothers joked that the injury might affect King’s appearance during an upcoming concert stop.

“Looks like King might be performing with a cane for the SC show,” they wrote, referring to a South Carolina date on their ongoing Forever Lasting tour.

The lighthearted presentation apparently led some social media users to question whether the entire incident had been staged for online attention.

King later responded to the speculation through his Instagram Stories.

Resharing footage from the incident, he wrote, according to Complex, “Oh y’all thought this was content. I just make it look good.”

His response suggested that although the video had been edited humorously, the accident and his resulting injuries were real.

King’s condition does not appear to have prevented him from continuing to promote his music and touring activities, but the brace and crutch raised questions about whether he would need to modify upcoming performances while recovering.

Neither T.I. nor Tiny had publicly provided a detailed medical update on King’s injuries in the original report.

The incident also placed renewed attention on Major, the younger Harris sibling who was behind the wheel.

At 18, Major had only recently obtained his driver’s license, and the video showed King apparently trying to help him become more comfortable maneuvering the vehicle.

Major is one of three children T.I. and Tiny share together.

The famous couple is part of a large blended family that has frequently been featured in public appearances, reality television and social media over the years.

T.I., whose full name is Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., is 45 and is one of Atlanta’s most prominent rappers.

Before building a family with Tiny, he welcomed two sons, Messiah Harris and Domani Harris, with former girlfriend Lashon Dixon.

He also shares daughter Deyjah Harris with ex-partner Ranniqua Brannum.

Tiny, 51, whose birth name is Tameka Cottle, became a mother in 1996 when she welcomed daughter Zonnique Pullins with her former partner Zonnie Pullins.

T.I. and Tiny later began their relationship and married in 2010.

Together, they welcomed three children: King, Major and their younger daughter, Heiress Harris.

Their children have grown up largely in the public eye, with several pursuing their own interests in entertainment.

King, in particular, has followed his father into music.

He has been building his own career and performing alongside his brother Domani as part of the Forever Lasting tour.

The recent mishap therefore comes at an inconvenient moment, as King is currently scheduled to appear on stage while dealing with a leg injury.

His joking suggestion that he may have to perform with a cane indicates that he is still hoping to participate despite the setback.

Major, meanwhile, recently reached another major milestone.

In May, he graduated from Woodward Academy, an achievement that Tiny proudly celebrated on social media.

The singer shared footage of her youngest son wearing his graduation cap and gown and walking across the stage to receive his diploma.

Tiny described Major as the “biggest boss of the family” and praised him for graduating with honors.

She also highlighted the accomplishments of his graduating class, saying that all 288 graduates had received scholarships.

For Tiny, the ceremony was particularly emotional.

She wrote that watching Major reach the milestone had been one of the greatest moments for the family and expressed how proud she was of the young man he had become.

She also referenced the late Precious Harris, T.I.’s older sister, writing that she would have been overjoyed to see Major graduate with honors.

“We celebrate u! We honor u for all your greatness & beautiful human u are inside & out!!” Tiny wrote at the time.

She concluded by expressing excitement about her son’s future and telling him how proud he had made the family.

Only a few months after that graduation celebration, Major is now adjusting to another major part of adulthood: driving independently.

Unfortunately, one of his early parking lessons resulted in an unexpected injury to his older brother.

For King, however, the immediate aftermath has been handled with the kind of humor that has become familiar to followers of the Harris family.

Instead of keeping the accident completely private, he turned the uncomfortable moment into a social media post, pairing the footage with a perfectly timed song and joking about how the injury could affect his next performance.

That approach may have caused some viewers to doubt the seriousness of the incident, but King’s later response made clear that he viewed the injury as genuine.

What remains unclear is how long he will need the brace and crutch or whether the accident will have any lasting impact on his touring schedule.

For now, the 21-year-old appears focused on recovering while continuing with his musical plans.

And if his Instagram caption is any indication, even an unexpected driving accident may not be enough to keep him away from the stage.

Instead, King Harris may simply have to make one temporary addition to his performance style: a cane.
