Brandi Carlile has announced that she is postponing the U.K. and European leg of her Human Tour, telling fans that “personal circumstances” have left her with no choice but to move the concerts from this fall to the spring of 2027.
The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, 45, shared the news in an emotional Instagram post on Friday, August 7, acknowledging that the decision had caused her significant anxiety and could create complications for fans who had already made travel plans.
“I need to let you know that due to personal circumstances, I have no choice but to reschedule my UK and European tour from this fall to the spring,” Carlile wrote.
The original dates were scheduled to take place across October and November, but the entire run will now be pushed back several months, with the rescheduled performances taking place in March and April 2027.
Carlile did not provide additional details about the personal circumstances behind the decision.
Instead, she focused much of her message on fans who may be affected by the change, especially those who had planned to travel internationally to attend the concerts.
“I have been so profoundly anxious about this decision,” she admitted.
Carlile said she understood that postponing the shows could be both disappointing and inconvenient.
She specifically acknowledged that some fans may already have booked flights, accommodation or other travel arrangements in preparation for the original fall dates.
Still, she expressed hope that announcing the changes well in advance would give people enough time to modify those plans.

“My team has been working really hard behind the scenes to reschedule the tour with as little disruption as possible,” she explained.

Carlile confirmed that her planned concert in Lisbon could not be rescheduled as part of the new tour.

“I’m so sorry and I promise we will do everything in our power to get back to you as soon as we can,” she wrote.

The singer also made clear how much she had been looking forward to returning to Europe and the United Kingdom.
“I want nothing more than to see my friends across the pond,” Carlile said.

Her message ended with a direct appeal to fans to return when the concerts resume in the spring.
“I sincerely hope you’ll all come back and see me in the spring,” she wrote. “I promise I will make it up to you and that it will be worth the wait!”
