On the track, Phoebe, 31, sings, “She can pretend to be me // Since she took my place in my bed, on that stage.” It’s suspected that the line is a subtle jab at Gracie, who is currently dating Phoebe’s ex-boyfriend, actor Paul, 30. Much of the album is about the death of Phoebe’s father, with whom she had a strained relationship, and the end of her high-profile relationship with Paul, according to the outlet. Gracie, who has been vocal about being a fan of Phoebe, began her relationship with Paul in 2024. Paul has since publicly shown his support for Gracie, and they were even seen packing on the PDA at the Mad Cool Festival in Spain, where Gracie performed last summer. Fans speculated that Phoebe appearing to call out Gracie in her song was in response to Gracie making a similar move toward the indie folk singer in her 2024 album, The Secret of Us. Gracie is said to have revealed details of Paul’s past relationship with Phoebe in multiple tracks, though she didn’t reference either by name. One example is in her track Normal Thing, in which Gracie sings, “When did you slip through my fingers, did I ever have you? / Was I just a placeholder to fill the hole inside you? / … Nothing left to say ’cause you’re not over her, now, are you?” She also appeared to reference their romance in her song Risk, singing, “Know you had a girl, but it didn’t work out / Know you bought a house, but you had to move out…” 4 Phoebe and Paul dated for around two years before their split in 2022Credit: Getty   4 Gracie’s current romance with Paul began in 2024Credit: Getty The songwriters’ friendship changed drastically after Gracie opened for Phoebe during select dates of her Reunion Tour in October 2021. They were also the co-opening acts on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in May 2023. However, things shifted as fans repeatedly compared the two artists for their similar styles and visual aesthetics. The tension escalated when Gracie used stage props and bedroom sets in a performance dramatically similar to Phoebe’s signature look. Phoebe first broke into mainstream fame in 2020 with the debut of her second album, Punisher, followed by several Grammy nominations and a viral Saturday Night Live performance. Gracie reached superstardom shortly after, building a cult following with her indie pop sound and expanding her audience while opening for Phoebe and Taylor at their massive arena shows.

Perez, whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr, was hospitalised after fans called the police over fears he was self-harming on a TikTok livestream.

Now, a video from June has emerged where he talks about how his faith encouraged him to sell up his Sin City mansion, and relocate to Miami, after having two near- death experiences.

Revealing he was on the move, along with his family, Perez, who has talked a lot about finding God, explained more about the reason for him leaving his six- bedroom home.

“I love Vegas. I have nothing but wonderful memories here,” the blogger said in his YouTube video.

“However, I need to move to Miami for many reasons. First, this is heaven sent.

“God told me to move to Miami. I was in the car with my mother and all of a sudden, the Holy Spirit made these words come out of my mouth – ‘Let’s move to Miami’.”

The star then revealed more about his reasons for leaving his luxury Las Vegas home.

“I know that this move will be great for my family,” Perez said.

“Nearly dying this year twice and that experience… you just never think that’s going to happen.”

Perez is referring here to where he was battling sepsis, and then was forced to undergo emergency surgery for “a deep vein thrombosis” on his right leg.

“They’re going to remove the fully occluded blood clot, which is massive,” he told fans in April.

“We caught this early, because if that blood clot had gone to my lung or my heart, it could have been real bad.”

The video came just six weeks before Perez was rushed to hospital after worrying reports came in that he was seen self-harming during a livestream.

Police raced to the celebrity blogger and TV star’s home in Miami after concerned fans made “multiple” 911 calls.

Distressing footage from the blogger’s TikTok account appeared to show Perez covered in blood with several marks on his body.

The video from the livestream has since been taken down from TikTok

A police spokesperson said the star was “safely recovered” and taken to a local hospital to receive treatment.

There have been no updates on the podcaster’s condition since he was taken to hospital.
