Nicole Kidman Outlines Parenting Plan Following Divorce

After filing for divorce from Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman has shared her vision for co-parenting their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Court documents reveal she wishes to be the primary residential parent, with custody for approximately 306 days annually, while Urban would have the children for about 59 days.

The custody arrangement specifies that Kidman will handle most caregiving responsibilities, except for designated weekends when Urban will have parenting time from Saturday at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday at 6:00 p.m. on alternate weekends.

The plan also details holiday schedules, alternating fall vacation and Christmas breaks between parents every other year. Transportation to and from the children’s residences will be split equally, and both parents will jointly make all significant decisions, including education, religious upbringing, and extracurricular activities. Day-to-day decisions during each parent’s custody will be made independently.

Kidman has requested to be the primary caregiver and has agreed that neither parent will pay child support. Interestingly, she filed for divorce on the same day she announced her separation, citing irreconcilable differences. Sources close to her indicate she was reluctant to end the marriage, trying to preserve it, but ultimately the relationship ran its course.

Reports suggest Urban had already moved out of their shared home. Rumors have circulated that he may be dating someone new, though neither parent has publicly commented on the split.
