Pregnant Kaley Cuoco Celebrates Fiesta-Themed Baby Shower Ahead of Welcoming Second Daughter with Tom Pelphrey

Kaley Cuoco is getting ready to become a mother of two — and she celebrated the upcoming arrival of her second daughter with a colorful, fiesta-themed baby shower surrounded by family and close friends.

The Big Bang Theory alum, 40, shared a glimpse of the celebration on Sunday, August 16, posting photos and videos from the event on her Instagram Stories as she prepares to welcome another baby girl with fiancé Tom Pelphrey, 44.

The gathering brought together some of Cuoco’s closest friends, including several familiar faces from television and film, while also giving her 3-year-old daughter Matilda a starring role in the celebration.

“Today was just the sweetest,” Cuoco wrote alongside a photo of herself holding Matilda.

In the image, mother and daughter wore coordinated dresses that matched the party’s playful Mexican-inspired theme, offering fans a look at one of the most personal moments of Cuoco’s pregnancy so far.

Cuoco Announced Her Second Pregnancy in June

Cuoco revealed in June that she and Pelphrey were expecting their second child together.

A section of frosting had been removed from one corner, revealing a pink interior and confirming that the couple was expecting another girl.

The actress also acknowledged that the experience had not been completely straightforward.

“This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways, but wow we are so grateful for this moment!!” she added.

Cuoco enthusiastically announced that Matilda would soon have a younger sister.

“Little sissy on the way!!!” she wrote, joking that Pelphrey was destined to be a “girl dad for life.”

The pregnancy announcement also included an ultrasound image that quickly became one of the most memorable parts of the post.

According to Cuoco, the unborn baby appeared to be holding two fingers toward the camera in a gesture that looked amusingly defiant.

She joked that the final photograph showed their “dainty princess giving us the middle finger.”
