Jamie Foxx’s Daughter Corinne Says He’ll Be an ‘Amazing’ Dad Again as He Prepares to Welcome Baby with Alyce Huckstepp

Jamie Foxx is preparing to become a father again at 58, and his oldest daughter, Corinne Foxx, could not be more excited about the newest addition to their family.

During a recent interview with Extra promoting the latest season of their game show Beat Shazam, Corinne, 32, spoke enthusiastically about her father’s upcoming baby and expressed complete confidence in his ability to embrace parenthood again.

“I’m very excited. I’m very excited for him,” Corinne said.

Calling Foxx the “best dad in the world,” she predicted that the Oscar-winning actor and comedian will thrive as he begins another chapter of fatherhood.

“He’s the best dad in the world, and so he is going to thrive and excel,” she said. “It’s going to be amazing.”

Foxx, 58, is expecting his third child and his first with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp, 31. PEOPLE confirmed the pregnancy in May.

The baby will join Foxx’s two older daughters, Corinne and Anelise, 17, giving the longtime entertainer an opportunity to experience the newborn stage again decades after becoming a father for the first time.

Foxx Initially Had Concerns About Becoming a Dad Again

Although Corinne appears completely confident in her father, Foxx himself has admitted that welcoming another child in his late 50s initially gave him some hesitation.

During another interview alongside Corinne, this time with E! News, the Django Unchained star acknowledged that his age made him wonder whether becoming a father again was the right decision.

“Being my age, I was a little on the fence,” Foxx admitted.

However, an unexpected conversation with another Hollywood legend helped change his perspective.

Foxx said he recently crossed paths with Al Pacino, who became a father again later in life.

Pacino, now 86, welcomed his son Roman in 2023 with Noor Alfallah.

Seeing Pacino continue to navigate fatherhood apparently gave Foxx some reassurance.

“I ran into Al Pacino a few months ago,” Foxx recalled.

Never one to miss an opportunity for a joke, Foxx said he asked the Godfather star whether he planned to find himself back in the school drop-off line.

“I said, ‘Al, you gonna be back in the drop off line?’ ” Foxx joked.

The interaction appeared to put his own age into perspective.

“I said, ‘Aw man, shoot I’m good,’ ” he added.

Foxx Is Already Father to Two Daughters

The upcoming baby will be Foxx’s third child.

He shares his oldest daughter, Corinne, with his former partner Connie Kline.
