The pair, who have been entangled in a showmance, broke away from the others for a private chat, but producers weren’t pleased with their discussion topic.
Drew mentioned his cutesy exchange with host Julie Chen-Moonves during voting on Thursday’s live eviction when producers interjected.
“Last week, I was like, ‘What’s poppin’, Honey Moonves, to Julie and then -” Drew began before a voice on the intercom cut him off to remind him of the house rules.
“You are not allowed to talk about production,” the producer warned.
Drew shook his head and said, “Yeah, whatever,” under his breath before continuing his story.
“And then the next one I said, ‘What’s poppin’, Ms. Moonves,’” he recalled.
Drew was interrupted again by the producer, who repeated the warning.
“Bruh, this was on the show,” Drew, looking annoyed, said while staring at the camera.
Melody said she wished that she had more interactions like that during the live shows, but she “gets too nervous” with the limited time.
“I said, ‘What’s poppin” and she said, ‘You’re hair,’ and I stood there like this,” Drew said with a confused expression on his face.
“And then I go, ‘Wait, that was sick.,’” he added.
However, production called him directly a third time for mentioning the live moment and Drew got the hint.

“Okay, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. He said my name,” Drew said before mocking the producer’s harsh tone.
Sunday’s episode captured Haley Thogmartin winning Head of Household, maintaining the Toolshed alliance’s power streak.
Fans have already seen on the live feeds that Haley nominated Drew, Melody, and Taylor Brown for the block.
She made it clear that she doesn’t trust Drew because he’s playing both sides of the house.
It doesn’t look good for Melody either, as she and Haley have both expressed their hatred for each other.
Meanwhile, the Toolshed alliance received a major advantage when Dee Valladares was awarded this week’s Time Capsule.
The Survivor alum won the BB Bribe power, the ability to offer one houseguest $5,000 in exchange for an action that benefits her game, which can include them nominating or voting a certain way.
Dee vowed not to tell a soul about her new power, which is good for the entire game.
