Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have welcomed their third child—a baby girl born in Lisbon, Portugal.
The royal announced the arrival on Instagram, sharing a photograph of the newborn and expressing the couple’s joy at becoming parents for the third time.
“Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank,” Eugenie wrote. “We are beyond in love with our girlie.”
The baby’s name has not yet been publicly revealed, allowing the family to enjoy the first days of her life with a degree of privacy before introducing her more fully to the world.
Buckingham Palace later confirmed the news in an official statement.
According to the Palace, the child was born safely on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 6:20 p.m. at a hospital in Lisbon. She weighed 6 pounds and 9 ounces at birth.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter,” the statement said.
The announcement added that King Charles, Queen Camilla and other members of the Royal Family had been informed and were delighted by the news.
The birth marks a new chapter for Eugenie and Jack, whose family now includes two sons and their newborn daughter.
Their eldest child, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, was born in February 2021. Their second son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, arrived in May 2023.
With the arrival of their daughter, the Brooksbanks have become a family of five.
